A year in advance

Still plenty of time. Now is the time to take care of the most obvious matters.

Decide on decoration for your wedding location

3 months to go

Now it is time for the little details. What will my wedding day look like? What do I still need to take care of?

Still not decided on the wedding rings? Now is the time to make a decision!
Meet with the registrar and/or cleric who will perform the wedding
Visit a civil-law notary
Order flowers
Taste and order wedding cake
Book hairdresser, make-up artist or aesthetician
Fancy a unique opening dance? Now is the time to take some dancing lessons.

1 month to go

Everything is arranged so now is the time for double-checking everything, doing some practical preparations and finishing up your perfect wedding.

Are you going on a honeymoon? Check your passports, visas or travel passes
Finalise table setting
Re-check and reconfirm playbook, reservations and bookings
Communicate the definitive number of guests to the wedding planner and the catering
Go for a final fitting session of your wedding dress and break in your wedding shoes
Prepare and finalise speeches
Go through the entire wedding day (routes, structure, timing)
Manicure and pedicure
Visit to the hairdresser (groom)

The day before

Pack your holiday bags and get your travel documents ready)
Set out your wedding clothes
Get together rings, gifts for your partner and gifts for the bridal party
Set out last-minute solutions such as tips for service personnel and umbrellas
Calm possible nerves and enjoy the evening!
