How does nature inspire diamond jewelry design?

Nature's raw beauty profoundly influences diamond jewelry design at BAUNAT. Our Antwerp workshop artfully combines natural elements with certified diamonds to create timeless pieces. Men often select nature-inspired designs when choosing jewelry for their partners. The flower ring, reminiscent of Princess Diana's iconic piece now worn by Kate Middleton, features a colored diamond surrounded by smaller diamonds. Our Nathu collection, designed by Wouters & Hendrix, offers an abstract interpretation of foliage movements, blending minimalism with organic elements that complement both classic and contemporary styles.

Our sourcing & certification

All BAUNAT diamonds are natural, untreated and conflict-free, sourced through long-standing relationships with trusted suppliers. We support responsible practices across the supply chain and are a certified member of the Responsible Jewellery Council, which reflects our commitment to ethical sourcing and transparent operations. For qualifying stones we provide independent laboratory certificates from recognised authorities so provenance and quality can be verified. Our jewellery is handcrafted in Antwerp using recycled 18kt gold or 950 platinum where appropriate, combining sustainability with enduring craftsmanship. This approach ensures each piece not only draws on nature for its design but also meets clear standards for traceability and material integrity.

Flower ring

For many men, the choice to propose often coincides with the enchanting allure of a diamond flower ring. A vibrantly coloured diamond or gemstone, ensconced by an array of petite, colourless diamonds is undeniably a classic staple. This captivating design is reminiscent of the iconic ring worn by Lady Di and now by Kate Middleton.

Nathu

In this modern collection, Antwerp-based designing duo, Wouters & Hendrix, have sought to explore an abstract rendition of the graceful forms and movements that are characteristic of foliage. The result? A collection that harmonises purity and minimalism, while still preserving a subtle yet organic feel. The pieces from the Nathu collection truly meld with the wearer, aligning with both classic and modern styles.
